Dynamically creating columns in Table Control

Hi,
I am trying to load the contents of a text file (csv) to a Table control but I do not know in advance how many columns the file will contain.
Can anyone suggest how a Table can by adjusted in terms of number of columns at run time?
It has occured to me that creating a table with sufficient colums (25 or 30, say) and making them visible or invisible as needed may be a workaround, but I am hoping that someone on this forum can offer a more elegant and flexible solution.
