Hello

I have a question that I think should be pretty common for WebDev users that are using Apache2 web server.

My development computer has Apache 2.2 installed and I want to upgrade it to Apache 2.4 to take advantage of SSL under Windows.

I have installed Apache 2.4 and copied the http.conf details that refer to the virtual WebDev directories. My problem is I get the following error when I try to do a local test of a site.

Here is the error I get.
HTTP/1.1 403 ForbiddenDate: Wed, 29 Jul 2015 06:58:29 GMTServer: Apache/2.4.16 (Win64)Content-Length: 238Connection: closeContent-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1403 ForbiddenForbidden
You don't have permission to access /WD180AWP/wd180awp.exe/VERSIONon this server.

I dont want to have to uninstall and reinstall WebDev to try and solve this.

My bigger problem is that I need to upgrade my production Win2008 R2 server that is also running Apache 2.2 to Apache 2.4 so I can use SSL on the production sites.

I'm just guessing this is something that is probably catered for in WebDev but I just can't seem to find enough detail about on the PC soft site.

Hope someone has done this before.

Thanks heaps in advance.
John
