I have a few questions about 2 of the new features in version 21. Repositionable Notes and End User Tooltips. Any using yet that can comment?


1. Where is this data stored?

2. If these features are enabled can the developer control which users can enter them? Or is it all or nothing?

3. Is this information, when entered, shared across all users for an application or is personal to the end user that entered it?

I just heard back from Jerome Aerts at PCSoft. Apparently this information is user specific and stored in registry and that you can control which users can enter. I think I'd have to write a custom method store this information in a DB if it really were to be useful. I could see some really pissed off users if they entered notes for themselves for a couple of years and then lost them all when they upgraded their PC.?
