Windev 21 and Webdev 21 (32 bit) fail to load on the 64 bit version of this build, even after running the troubleshooter and setting compatibility to an earlier version of Windows. The failure happens after the main screen displays but before the Welcome to WinDev/WebDev screen displays.

Reverted back to build 14946 and they both load without problems.

Hi Donald,

this kind of problem is generally a dongle compatibility issue.
So, before reverting to the earlier windows build, did you try to update the dongle drivers with the latest version (from the dongle web site) ?

I updated the dongle drivers to the 7.51 version released on 10/3/2016 from the Gemalto (the new owner of the Sentinel HASP product) web site. I never tried version 14951 again. However, when my computer was updated to the Fast ring version 14955, Windev loaded completely. I'm not sure if the problem was fixed by Microsoft or through the installation of the new drivers, or a combination of both.
