Hello Fabrice,

Thanks for the update on this.

I had to ask as I am not able to download the Express version of WinDev for Mobile.

The download at current link is corrupted and does not get installed.

I did email support of WinDev regarding this but have not got any worthwhile answer from them and that is sad as it say a lot about support's sincerity towards their customers.

I have dropped the idea of investing so heavily in this area just because of this.

Anyways thanks again for your help.

Regards,

Yogi Yang

I would like to know various considerations for deploying apps developed in WinDev Mobile?

By considerations I mean the

OSs supported:
Windows mobile and windows CE

minimum hardware in a Mobile Instrument:
what's necesseray to have mobiel or CE running, + enough free memory to
install (depends on the size of your app and on the dll that you need
for it)

is it compatible with BlackBerry Mobiles,
Nope, only windows OS

There are mode detailed information in the help file (family of
processors, versions of OS supported, etc, but it basically comes down
to: if it's running under windows mobile or CE, then it's OK, if not,
then you can still think about using windev (NOT mobile) to create a
JAVA app that can run on anything supporting java)

Best regards
