Windows 7 compatibility

Hi, just to be sure:
do WD12 programs run flawlessly on Window7? 32bit and/or 64bit
do WD14 programs run flawlessly on Window7? 32bit and/or 64bit
I don't mean the IDE, here (there was another post about that). But the generated executables.

Re: Windows 7 compatibility

Hi, no problems seen so far. Even WinDev 5.5 programs (32-bit only) run flawlessly on 32-bit Win7. WD12/14 no problems on 32/64-bit either. I'm using Win7*64 on my development computer for more than 6 months now ...
There's something to be aware of: by standard, under Vista & Win7 the HyperFileSQL Server installs into Root:\programs (x86)\PC Soft\HyperFileSQL Server\ .. and works just fine there! To my big surprise. Because on Vista and Win7 writing to the \programs folders is forbidden, except for running a setup where the UAC will ask for permission, except that the setup .exe contains the word 'setup' in its name (Win7). However, PC Soft made it possible .. I'd recommend to rather install HFSQL Server into Root:\HF Server or something like that ..
Regards,
Guenter

Re: Windows 7 compatibility

Does the Carousel using native WinDev or .Net work well displaying images under Windows 7?
