On a new webdev project is it possible to import an existing analysis?

yes...

just go in the project description, and on the analysis tab, browse to the analysis you want to use...
That solution is for SHARING the same analysis between two project

To use your initial analysis as a starting point for a new one, start by COPYING the original analysis directory into your new project, then use the procedure above to link it to your project.
