I am using Windev 23 Mobile.
I have an editable text box with a mask for IP address.
I used text as the type. 15 characters.
When typing in the IP in the box on an IPhone, you cannot type the "2" as the third character in the 1st octet.
For example you cannot type 192.168.0.55
The 2 in the 192 will not type if it starts with a 19.
If it starts with anything other than 19 it works.
Emulator and Android work fine.
As you can imagine it is a problem.
Thanks for any work around info that can be provided.

WinDev finally responded and submitted the problem to their developers.
Hopefully it won't take an upgrade to resolve it.

Now I need help. I modified the text box with my own mask.
Re-submitted it to the Apple Store.
It was rejected and I don't know what to make of the rejection? I changed very little.
"Specifically, your app has specific URL support handling for "itms-services" schemes among others in -[CIOSWKWebViewDispatcher webView:decidePolicyForNavigationAction:decisionHandler:], and no signs of this being to stop said use.
It would be appropriate to revise or remove the URL scheme handling support to be suitable for the App Store."
What does this even mean? Should I go directly to WinDev for help?
Thanks
Jim

Looks like there is a Windev fix for this. Hopefully they have it for ver. 23.

Hi Jim
Yes it has a fix but you need to use the technical support
too bad for us but Windev Mobile 23 doesn't have technical support, only Windev mobile 24 and 25
the way to fix the issue it was to download some files PCSoft give to you through technical support and they will give you a guide of how to install those files.
Did you already have those files before technical support for version 23 was shutdown?
the problem I'm telling you it's about to publish the app to apple store, they tell you that weird URL problem, PCSoft have the fix but then again like I said before they give you those files and the information to make it work on an email with Technical support.
I hope you could solve this issue soon.

Unfortunately no, I don't have the files. I just discovered it.
WinDev 23 Mobile is now useless. Can't publish in Android or IOS.
They responded to me and said I needed to upgrade to 24.
If they have the fix for 23, they should hand it over.
Very bad business practice.

Hi Jim
Oh too bad and yes 23 it's useless the only thing you can do now it's to install
the app with the device in hand.
When 23 have technical support you could have those files and then be able to publish
on Apple Store but you can't do it on Play Store
with Play store you will need a updated to 24 or 25 to be able of publish your app.
I'm in the same boat as you if you ask me but I will wait for 25 to release because have a lot of new feature for android
I really need like be able to use the controls of report and so on.
I hope you could solve your problem soon.
