I am building an app that will store and manage appointments for a consultant.&#13;
&#13;
A day before the appointment date the app should SMS the client (of this consultant) regarding their meeting.&#13;
&#13;
For this I will have to build an app that will fun in background and use minimum resources of the phone.&#13;
&#13;
Would building such app be practically feasible?&#13;
