Actually I want to build an application that will dial a number and when a person on the other side received the call it will play an audio file (either .wav or .mp3).

So I am trying to get the sample (WD Answering Machine) supplied with WD to talk to my GSM modem attached to the USB port. But it is not connecting to it. It does not receive the call nor does it dial any number.

If we try to dial a number from it we get Connection not established message. While the utility that comes with the GSM modem works smoothly without problems.

Any ideas as to how to solve this problem?

TIA
