I am new to any sort of development & have just purchased WinDev 20, so may end up posting a number of questions on here at some point.

I have WinDev 20 installed on 2 computers - 1 seems to be working ok so far (desktop computer), however I have also installed the software onto my laptop & have run into an issue that makes it unusable on the laptop.

The issue I have is when I create an Analysis & change the data type, the application lock's up & I have to quit from Task Manager.

In order to try & resolve this, I have completed a full reset of my laptop to see if there was a software conflict occuring with the previous software configuration.

When I install WinDev on a clean install, it seems to work ok (as far as I can tell), however once I install Office 2013 back on it then goes back to causing the application to lock up again.

Only software currently installed on the laptop is WinDev, AVG Anti Virus & Office Professional Plus 2013.

This lock up occurs nearly every time I try to change the data type in an analysis & results in WinDev being unsusable on the laptop - even when using the steps as provided in the tutorial for "My First Database".

The Desktop computer seems to run ok & I can edit the Analysis data type, however this computer does not have Office 2013 installed on it.

WinDev was installed in 32 bit mode using all the default settings on both machines (full Install)

Laptop is a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 Intel Core i5 with 8GB Ram running Windows 10 Pro. The Desktop is also running Windows 10.

Any idea’s as to what could be causing WinDev to lock up on the laptop so that I can resolve this?

Thanks,
