The other day I had a BIG Windows update come in. I am not sure if it is related but now when I go to SAVE a Mobile window it is suggesting it is a WDW extension. This is a WinDEV window. Mobile windows are WPW.

Is there anything I can change in the IDE to sert this back?

I have also restored to a checkpoint prior to the Windows update, reinstalled WM21 and searched in the registry for anything to do with wpw and wdw files. All looks good.

If I look in the Windows 10 file associations I see that .wpw files are associated with Mobile and .wdw with Dev. But the strange thing is that WinDev is not appearing in the associated programs list despite reinstalling.

The only thing I can do now is to save a new window, click on the ... button and rename the extension from wdw to wpw.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before and got a resolution for it.

Many thanks

Turns out that the naming convention has changed and wdw is now correct for windows mobile.

Cheers
