I use queries to fetch the data. The problem I have is when the app loses focus goes in the background and sits for a while when it is brought back to focus and the connection has been lost I can not seem to get it to connect again it crash the app. What I am looking for is a way to set a timer that after 5 minutes disconnect from the connection then when it is brought up to the foreground reconnect.
