In my app folder I have a JNL folder and also JournalIdentification and JournalOperation files. As I understand it these relate to updates of files if a change in the Analysis has occurred?

I use Universal Replication and handcode the creation of the RPM/RPA files and transmission processes. I mention this in case it is relevant.

When my app starts I ALWAYS connect, do a HModify and HConnectIfNotFound although I suspect the latter is redundant since I have my Project set to Create files as default.

My questions is this - based on all the above are the JNL files and folder necessary? I have an issue and only now after several years trying to understand exactly what they represent.
