Hi everibody,
do someone has any idea about how look for, by programming, a hfsql server (mounted on a server that must have a dynamic IP)?

maybe with a loop checking every IP controlling errors, no more ideas.

The idea was to use a laptop to receive questionnaires to be filled in by mobile phone, mobile phones should be looking for the laptop that, by connecting to different wifi networks, has always different addresses. However, with mobile phones it takes too long to find the laptop, even using threads

For simplicity, respondents enter the server address on mobile phones and the problem is resolved :)

Why don't you give laptop a fixed IP ?

if you need to move to other wifi nets (then you must use dynamic IP) ... think that many free wifi use to isolate clientes so they can't reach eachothers.
