There are several reasons I have not purchased PS-SOFT products:
- web apps require proprietary server
- poor support (for English speaking people)
- poor and delayed documentation for Engslih speaking people
- poor example base (OEnglish)
- bas support from US dealers

The main p[roblem is french paradigm. Tha is: everything is created/developed in French first, then converted to English. This never worked well for any internationally sold product.

In the meantime I use SCRIPTCASE (for web development) and B4X *Basic For Android wor mobile, Clarion wor Win desktop. They all work great although I'm missing integration of those 3 tools and that is what I like about PC-Soft. The language barrier + price is still not convincing enough for me though.

Since they keep sending me offers on every upgrade I would like to ask if anything has changed since I last checked out here about a year ago ? Would love to hear your opinions (especially from those who do not speak French).

First, let' be clear...
I've been using pcsoft products for 25 years, I'm french, but I work
moslty in the US versions

Yep and I don't see how that is a problem... You can find hosting for
webdev+hfsql for as little as 5€/months, or pay about 300€ once per
server... In both case, a very small amount for a professional endeavor.

Nope... The US version becomes available around may, when the french
users crazy enough to use the early versions have found most of the bugs
and therefore helped correct them...

The fact that the US version is available later is a BONUS for you... I
try NEVER to use any version before the US one is available, and I
sometime wait for the second of 3rd english version to be sure to have a
stable one.

Example base provided by pcsoft is the same in french and english,
always has been, AFAIk.
Plus, several open sources projects (big ones) available in english only
with documentation and video on my web site, a good number of video
courses in English...
