Hello,

i was searching the forum but did not found anything.

i have a website developed with Windev 26. In the project description i have only german language activ and set as default.
Now Webdev creates a subfolder for my language.

for example:

i type the following adress in my browser:

https://mysite.de/anything_web/

Then the index.php is loaded and is automatically redirected to the following subfolder:

https://mysite.de/anything_web/DE

Is it possible, that Webdev is not creating subfolders for the language? i just want to have everything in the main folder.

Would be nice, if someone has a solution.

Thanks a lot and best regards.

that option is not available....

the reasoning behind that is that at any moment you can add other languages, and therefore the folders/language are mandatory

Now, considering that:
- the site upload is automatic
- you have nothing to do manually in any of the directories
- users don't give a shit about URLs (only geeks like us do)

that shouldn't be a problem

Hi, You can change the domain path to the german pages on the server. Then by simply entering the domain name it will show you the content in that language. You do not need to use in the url the path with the _WEB folder or the language to access the language you want to display.

You can change the appearance of the region to the German pages on the sender. And at that point, enter the name of the place and show you the treasures of that language. You don’t need to use the form and paint WEB language or the URL to get to the language you need to display.
