I have created a WD22 exe with all dlls inside. The user doesn't need anything to install, only start it. So far so good.
If I upload the exe in a zip file and download it, my trend micro virus scan give me a warning about ransome ware. The exe before upload is the same as after and works without problems. Does anybody know how to disable that ? I signed the exe with a certificate but that doesn't help.

Hi Michael,

I don't know how to solve. But you are not alone.
From time to time we need to add our EXE to the 'whitelist' of Trend Micro.

Kind regards,

Many antivirus programs are very "sensitive" with Zip files.
Did you tried to upload it as simple EXE ?

it does no matter if this is zip or exe (I tried this).

this is a false positive
As such, the ONLY way to solve the problem is to contact the editor of the A/V software in question and tell them so, along with giving them an example of the program.

Best regards
