Greetings all,

I am a PowerBuilder developer evaluating a transition to WinDev. I downloaded and installed WinDev Mobile Express 15 and have just gone through the concepts PDF. I saw one reference to "web service" in a diagram and one reference to "SOAP" in a table.

Can someone kindly let me know if I can create a WinDev Mobil application that uses web services as its primary means of operation? I am interested in creating a booking tool for existing web services. Ultimately, I would like to save some of the confirmation data in a HyperFile database on the device for use in changing or cancelling a booking.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Best,

Paul

Absolutely;

We finished an inventory application with bar code scanning working on a
MC55 Motorola device..
information is relayed back and forth on wireless in "near" realtime ....

soon I will be adding in a "pick ticket" system for getting inventory for
delivery tickets.

Thanks Andy,

I thought it was true. But I had to ask.

I appreciate your taking the time out to share your experience.

Best,

Paul
