Request Details:
Buenos dias tengo un inconveniente al tratar de ejecutar
mi aplicativo despues de haber generado el instalador, al generar el
instalador habilito la opcion "Parametesr of the database", le
habilito el "customize the location of the groupwere files during
setup" y al momento de ejecutar mi ejecutable donde mi cliente me saca
el error que detallo abojo. Alguna idea de que debo hacer para que
esto me funcione correctamente??

¿Estas realizando la instalación con privilegios de administrador?, en el mensaje de error veo que estas realizando la instalación sobre un vista.

Hola, no puedo ayudarte mucho, solo comentarte que estos errores Access
violation (GPF)
se nos viene produciendo en diferentes versione de windev 11, 12 i veo que
tambien en 14 i no encontramos ninguna explicacion ni patron.

Aparecen en diferentes circuntacias e incluso en acciones que no tienen
código (al menos escrito por nosotros), como al recuperar foco una ventana,
pero no ocurre siempre y no somos capaces de reproducirlo a voluntadetc...

Si buscas GPF en el foro frances te aparecera todo una historial de mensajes
con dicho tema.

En PC soft no nos han aclarado nada

Hola,

Después de mucho buscar, he encontrado solución al error que me daba de Access Violation gpf bla bla bla...

Os cuento:

Quería ejecutar el servidor RPC en un Windows 2004 Server Ent. Edition y me daba el tan desconocido Access Violation GPF error. Al parecer este error se da debido a una supuesta mala gestión de memoria o acceso indebido a zonas de memoria...
La versión que yo manejo es la 7.5 pero el error puede darse en cualquiera de los S.O. de Microchof.

Bien, en el foro inglés he encontrado esto:

IF the GPF occurs for every WinDev program that you run, check the "Data Execution Protection" in the MS-Windows Control panel. I know that this must be off for WinDev 8 programs to run.

Eso quiere decir que debemos ir a :

XP :
Control Panel (Panel de control)>> System (sistema) >> Opciones Avanzadas >> Rendimientos configuración >> Prev. ejecución de Datos >>

Aquí debemos seleccionar la opción que más se nos ajuste. En mi caso añadí el programa en la lista de programas DEP que hay que permitir que no lleven DEP.

Esto debe hacerse con programas de cierta confianza, lo dejo a vuestro criterio.

Si quereis leer más aquí teneis algo más de literatura...
