ADDING ITEMS TO A HYPERFILE

How to by code can add a new item in a hyperfile, the question is because the previous version have different structure and in the new version software I added a new items into the hyperfiles in other words the structure of hyperfile is different.
I am using WINDEV 11 and now I don't know how i can still use the previous databases.
