Hi folks,
I have developed a rudimetary projectmagement for VSP (a Suneido open source IDE- RAD project). Which realizes something like that :
-Project
--Task
----Sub Task
------Sub Sub Task
--------Developer
--------Developer
--Task
----Developer
etc...
(NO Sub Task level limit, of course) : Source isn't based on Peter Holemans code
My intention to implement a projectmanagement modul are bit ??spreaded??, I want developer-Groupware, I want financial calulations, I want Gant support, I want human resource management.
(This features are not implemented in any other IDEs, so I can't borrow ideas, but this features are IMO very usefull and of course they should make VSP unique to encourage other developers to contribute)
Okay, Now we have a bad case of programmer confusion. :-(
Actually I think I should make a difference between Subprojects and Tasks so that the Tree should have the following model:
-Project
--Subproject A
----Sub Sub Project
------Task 1
--------Sub Task 2
---------Sub Sub Task 3
--Subproject B
etc...
I really wonder how to (better where to ) establish the relation to employees.
At Subproject Level or at Task Level ????
Any ideas are welcome,
thanks in advance
(for sure an employer is able to work on several subprojects/tasks but that's not the problem, Just a note to inform you)
btw: new Visual Suneido Project screenshots (Projectmanagement)available
