In clarion we can plit the statusbar in to separate parts.
Each part can have different data and can be filled hand coded.
Is this possible in Windev?

Yes,
in windev 8.
Otherwise you need te use APIcalls.

Hello Jonthan,
with WinDev 7.5 you can only the funcion "Message" (one message for the status bar) and addtional you can show a progress bar in this area.
With WinDev 8 you can create and delete parts of the status bar. You can show in a part of the status bar the following elements:
Progress bar
Help message
Date
Time
Spalten und Zeilennummer
Status of shift
Status of Insert/Overwrite
Groupware user.
There are a lot of properties associated with a status bar (image, font a.s.o.)
