Combo box 1st custom row not working

I have a combo box I'm populating from a query and I've specified a 1st custom row for it but this never shows up, just the first result from the query.

I'm using Webdev 14, PHP with Mysql Native access

I did a quick test with WebDev 15 on a combo and it seems to work. Maybe you should try to isolate this and build a new page with the combo box as your only control.

Im using version 14 at the moment
