Wider combobox in table

In a table I have a column that has the type combobox.
Can I make the choises of the pulldown wider than the column and is it possible to have an overview (pulldown of the combo))with more colums than one?
Just as in a normal combobox in the TAB contents I can choose table and add a few colums for the pulldown(combobox). Is something like this possible with a combobox in a table or is there another way of doing the job.
