I would like to ask what exactly is the difference between:

a) the HASP HL Device Driver , and
b) the HASP4 Device Driver .

If I install one or the other will I have some different functionality ?
How can I choose to install one of the above drivers just by looking at my HASP ?
Is there something written on the HASP in order for me to choose ?

HASP HL is the technology successor of the HASP4 and Hardlock family. It's
compatible to HASP4, but not to Hardlock. The HASP HL driver work too with an HASP4
and you can use a HASP HL as a HASP4 with the HASP4 drivers.
