Using WD8 Demo. I've been testing the write speed for hyperfiles with small record sizes (~50 bytes). Starting with an empty file, I get around 2000 records per second. By the time the file has reached 100,000 records it is down to around 1000 records per second. At around 150,000 it is less than that, and steadily decreases.

I'm hoping this is due to something I'm overlooking as it seems pretty woeful, as this file didn't have any indices.

Should I expect better performance?
