I cannot use Vietnamese Unicode in Windev 5.5 and 7.5.
I want to ask if this problem will be solved in Windev 8.

Hello Long,
If you want to use UNICODE with WD, do these.
1. Data Model>File Items>General>Format>Text Memo
....Data Model>File Items>R.A.D>RTF Input CHECKED
2. Form>Detail>Settings>R.T.F format CHECKED
3. Table>Detail>Settings>R.T.F format CHECKED
....Table>General>Input Size>must be 0(ZERO) <-- very important!

Hi,
I'm unable to say anything to WinDev 5.5, but with WinDev 7.5 I had have definitely problems by using Japanese. With WinDev 8 my test with Japanese were successful.
BTW: Vietnamese is language 41 in WinDev 8.

Hello Long,
If you want to use UNICODE with WD, do these.
1. Data Model>File Items>General>Format>Text Memo
