Hi all,
there is new interessting function "sEvent" in WinDev 8. You can define with this function a callback for a port event. WinDev calls your callback function in the case of (defineable):
Character received
CTS changed
DSR
Buffer overflow
Ring detected
Print error
and some other events.
As you can see, it's not only for serial ports, it can be used also for parallel ports.
