I am trying to open .fic files to repair a programme but do not have windev on my computer. Is there anyway I can do this without purchasing windev which I do not need?

Hello Diane,

What you need to open .fic is WDMAP, but to use use this WDMap you need Windev, so you have a problem.

I do not understand how you want to repair a program by opening .fic files, but if you need the datas from the .fic file, I can export the data for you if you send me your .fic file.

Hello Diane,
WinDev contains a tools named WDOptimizer, This program allows you to repair, rebuild index and memo files. Check this with the distributor of your application.
