treeview-page hangs

Hello
i have a treeview with all the records of a FIC-file. A click on a element loads the "code serveur" of a hiden button. For now i just show the id (of the noeud or the feuille that was clicked) in a "champ de saissie".
This all works fine when there are only a few records.
But when I use my original fic-file with 600 records the page does not reload after a click. When I debug and go step-by-step (F7) i see that all the code is executed, the last step is the "code serveur" of the hidden button, and then I return to the page but it keeps loading. The progress-bar in the status-bar of the internet explorer advances very slowly and then stops when it is loaded half.

anybody got an idea?

apparently it works with 200 records (200 feuilles) but not with 300.
Is there a limit?
It does not matter how much records there are to create and show the tree but there is a problem when an item is clicked.

help please...
