Microsoft Office and Outlook Integration

I was wondering if anyone had had experience integrating WD apps with MS Outlook and Office in general.
1. I was wanting to create an app that would have the ability to sync persons, appointments, notes, tasks, etc with Outlook.
2. I wanted to be able to use MS Word for mail merging abilities from a contact / customer database.
Can these be accomplished?

Hi Jack,
We have integrated with both Outlook and Word using WinDev 7.5.
We build our own classes to do that.
The installed example 'WD7 Pilotage de Word' will get you started with integrating Word.
LST 47 has an example 'WD7 OutLook, which will get you started with integrating Outlook.

We're planning to start surch an open source project and are inviting to
share experiences / devs to develop this.
sourceforge admin knowledges are also welcome...
