What is the newest version of mysql that works with Direct access from windev.

I don't know what versions are supported, but we are using 4.0.16 (with MyISAM tables) without problems.

How many users ? How do you handle record locking ?

10 users.
We wrote a procedure to handle record-locking ourselves.
