To try and build some more complex buttons I have used a control template with some images and text.

However I can't seem to get the STC control to sit on top of the image. I have changed the z-orders, tried changing the order that they are initialised but I still cant see the text.

This is not an issue on the android version of the same project only IOS.

The image below shows the screen I am working on and I changed the code for the control so the image size is reduced and the z-orders are displayed. As you can see the text is behind the image but the z-order is higher.

Any ideas?
