wd8 : organisation windev pane -- creating personal folders
I want to create a personal folder in the windev pane. (to organize my windows).
1. Select the folder in which the personal folder should be created.
2. Display the popup menu (right click) and i shoudl select the "New" option
but the only news i got is new report, new window ...
NEW FOLDER is marked gray and can not be selected.
Any idea why this is gray and i can not make a personal folder?

Hi Christine,
maybe you have the team work settings switch to on? A personal folder can onyl be created with the setting "I work on my own". I you work in a team, switch it off, create your folders and switch it on again.

G'day Raimund,
Thanks for that tip, it was one that had me stumped also. After trying your solution and setting up some folders I found that that when I changed my project setting back to "I work with others" that the folder option still worked, so maybe once the project realises that there are sub folders the option stays put.
The best result is that after putting windows into relevant folders the project graphs now make some sense and are actually useful as opposed to the 800+ window blob that was all I had when everything was lumped into one folder.
Regards
Al
