Hi All,

Can anybody tell me how I can change the URL of the web site I deployed from
http://examples.webdev.info/WD140AWP/WD140Awp.exe/CONNECT/REWALI_US

to simply
http://examples.webdev.info/REWALI_US

I want to remove the WD140AWP/WD140Awp.exe.

any suggestion on how this can be done will be deeply appreciated.

Regards,

Wielyanto

Hi Wielyanto

You are looking at 'url rewriting' and that's a question for a forum
dedicated to the web server you are using, not the webdev forum, I'm afraid

Hi,

Maybe we are not being clear in the question, we were hoping to 'hide'the WD140Awp.exe in the url e.g. http://www.auto-jobs.ca/WD120AWP/WD120Awp.exe/CONNECT/AUTOJOBS…

like what we saw in one of your example

http://www.momagri.org/momagri12_web/UK/PAGE_Accueil.awp

which does not show the wd140awp.exe url info.

thanks.

Warm Regards,
Peng Hock

Hi...

You were clear, and that is the correct answer: URL rewriting, and it's
not a webdev problem, but a wb server functionnality that you have to setup

Hi Peng Hock,

The example you cite is created with dynamic AWP pages. Do a search in the
help file for "AWP" to see the differences. AWP pages do NOT require any
special URL rewriting.

Cheers...
