I am using a joined logical over 2 physicals on an AS400. I have a composite key defined as company + customer + customersuffix defined as thecompositekey. I am trying to retrieve a record from the file using
hreadseekfirst(file,thecompositekey,[company,customer,customersuffix])
and do not get a hit on the file although I know that the record is in the file for that key and can see it using sql. It simply is "not found". does anyone have an Idea about what might be causing this problem. Thanks in advance.

I received word from an associate that to check the analysis. The file had in the analysis has to match exactly to the key, at least in this circumstance. I now hits the file and pulls the records.
