Hello Experts,

I came to know about this products while searching web. Looks like a fine products. I'm planning to buy the PC soft tools for my further developments.

I'm from Powerbuilder environment, but is a really fantastic product, as far as Database application development is concerned. What it lacks is the ability to generate code for other platforms, apart from windows, like Linux and Mac.

My consideration for the switchover:
For Windev: Cross platform application development from the same code.
For Webdev: Same language gives me the ability to development PHP applications
For WinDev Mobile: Possibility of developing Native mobile applications.

would like to know pros and cons of the above tools, from these perspective.
1. Is it possible to deploy applications in Linux and Mac, if we develop for windows ? Or lot of tweaking is required ?

2. How about PHP application development, using webdev, and its hosting ? Is it worthwhile in investing in this product ? I want plain PHP only.

3. Can the Windev mobile applications could be installed in any mobile, without routing it into their respective markets ? Ie. direct installing from our computer to our (clients') mobile.

As a newbie, I couldn't judge all these things myself, by going through the ads of PC soft. Need your experienced guidance in deciding about these products...
