Hi, All
I need to consult with WINDEV8 help file a lot(since windev 9 help is not use to me), today, The help file does not work any more, when I click on a topic on left pane, it shows the default explorer message saying " The page could not be displayed..." etc , etc.
I did not delete any thing in Windev 8 , What I did do wrong? please help

These links deal mainly with connection errors which do not really apply in your case because it is all local but there may be something in them that might help

Add remove programs in the control panel will offer a repair option if you try and remove IE and that may fix the problem
A temporary solution might be to install Firefox and make it the default browser

Hi, Al, Thank you for your pointers, it seems to be a security issue of windows xp sp2, still not working after hours of playing around, lucky I have a image clone of the C drive, so last resource will be swap of the C drive disk.
