What I miss in the WD 10 discussion (at least topics which are not figured out) is just the fact that WD 10 is able to :
A:
1 : Generate Eclipse projects
2 : Support Java code within the WD IDE !
(while WD 9 tries to hide the generated code ;-)
what does it mean ?
Extending your Software with f.e. ...
a) Jython // a python based scripting language
b) visualitation // have a look at http://www.jgraph.com/
c) speach recognizing IBM/SUN etc.
d) Java 3D (opengl...)
e) not to forget :use the Eclipse (or if you prefer : Netbeans) Framework to build your apps around this framework(s).
...just to name a few possibilities ...
B:
1 : Building Java Applets !
2 : Writing Intranet apps : this option is really well suited for INTRAnet applications on the fly.

C: (not Java specific)
1 : the posibillity to create a virtuelle company ! (!!!!!)

1) Support for NetBeans 5.x
2) the end user report and query tools should be available as JAR
3) enable windev "garbarits" in Java apps/applets through : UIManager
4) Toolbar widget (easy to implement)
4) Sidebar widget (dito)
5) general Docking Support
