Goodmorning men, at ease.
Came into the forum this morning to find that we have gone 1 (one) full day of not getting a post under the dreaded "Windev 10 French: Announced " thread. Either the "cease-fire" held, or our rear guard commanded by Colonel Gunter repulsed all attacks. Lets congratulate ourselves.
However, knowing this forum, we shouldn't get too complacent. Any innocent discussion amongst us like "Age calculation function" or "How to create a memory table" could easily trigger a response from those "outside" this forum with deady consequences.
As such the following new rules apply:
1. PC Soft should cancel its intended shippment of Windev 9 in black boxes. Brown boxes should rather be used.
2. Art Bonds should setup a 3rd party development group to create components call Windevonet, Wenix and Panther. What these tools will really do will be decided at our next general meeting (2007) in Elbonia, but the announcement should go out immediately.
These new measures should confuse the "outsiders" and keep them off balance for a while. Men, do not be fooled by the peace that seems to have engulfed us. We have a very determined opponent who wants to distract us and reduce our expected software sales for the last 3 months of this year(esp. Gunter's). BE ON YOUR GUARD as you prepare for the next YAWCS. Good luck
