Problem when removing one dongle

Hello,
I have 3 USB-dongles on my PC : WinDev, WebDev and WinDev Mobile.
When I remove the WinDev dongle for use in my laptop all remaining dongles become inactive (leds are off) : WebDev and Mobile didnot work anymore. When I replace the WinDev dongle : all 3 tools don't work.
When I reboot the PC all works well again .
Who can tell me what to do after removing the WinDev dongle to avoid inactivating the other dongles ?
TIA,
Teun.

Hi,

Install the latest driver from HASP at http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp.asp.

With this driver you can "eject" / "remove" you USB-dongle like you will do it for an USB-Memory stick. Maybe it can also fix your problem.

Hi Teun
I am using a 3 year old Dell laptop with 2 USB2 ports, and I have to swap the dongles around with the mobile one, and so far no problems at all without having to reboot. Maybe you should look at your bios settings for autodetect of USB devices?
