Hi all

Does anyone know of a way to automatically activate voice recognition for entry fields?

I am currently writing an app for new computer users and want them to be able to very easily switch on the voice recognition so that they can dictate into entry fields rather than having to type them.

I have scoured the help and nothing seems to work. I've tried AAFEnable(aafSpeechRecognition) which has no effect and the alternative is to be able to emulate the (Windows Logo + H) keypress which does work if I use the keyboard but again does not seem to have any effect if I use SendKey(). As my market is the elderly and new users, I want to eliminate any complicated instructions that they have to remember.

Has anyone done this before and if so how did you manage it? I am using Windows 11 and WinDev 26.
