Webservices are used extensively in the mobile and web environment both, it along with REST calls gives you the greatest amount of flexibility to provide data to other websites, mobile devices and even desktop programs.
We will spend about 20 -30 min a session and go over 3 phases of development of a webservice
1) creation , setup and general overview
2) Procedures and getting your data
3) accessing the webservice from your Device or program
This will become a series , moving into development of mobile and using them in components.
