Reading serial ports with WEBDEV |

Hello: It's possible to read the inputs from a device connected to PC client (RS232) and processed it in a webde page? How Can I do it? Thanks |

Hi Jorge...
Normally, the security settings of the browser prevents interactions with the hardware, so to do that, you will need either: - an activeX managing the RS232, and therefore IE to use the activeX - a windev exe (by example) to manage the RS232 and then using the httprequest function to communicate with the webdev page
