Hello to all Surfing the web, i found this interesting and useful tool (not freeware) to build our own dongle to protect our softwares. If anyone could be interested in such solution, pls visit this link: http://www.alkonost.com/antiduplicate/… You can download a demo software and test their easy solution. They also have a Windev example (it will be given only to registered users) and other example with different languages (vb, vc, etc etc) Hope in this help Gianni Spano |

Hi, I've made my own. I'm using usb-sticks as licensing media from the computer with the HFCS server (stored procedure) and with single computers running HF Classic. I'm not going to give away my application .. but you can construct your own licensing application. Start with my project: http://forum.mysnip.de/read.php… The simple truth is: each USB-flash-Drive has its unique serial number! And you can bind the serial number to your application, at least to switch it from demo mode to licensed mode. Note: USB-commands do not work in stored procedures. That's not a big problem. ExeRun(..) works. Regards, Guenter |
