Hello everyone We're investigating the possibility of re-writing our programs from COBOL under UNIX to WD75. I've run into a problem that I hope someone can help with.
One of the help areas of WinDev talks about using external languages. The area is:
C:\WinDev75\Help\LangageExt.chm Programming in COBOL
This tells how to call a WinDev program from a COBOL program and it mentions copying 3 files into a COBOL program: EDDEB.CBL WDFIN.CBL WinDev.CPY The files are suposed to be "provided in the 'External Languages\Cobol' subdirectory of the WinDev installation directory." I cannot find these files anywhere. Not in my install directory or on the WinDev CD.
Could someone possibly email me where to find these files? Or if it's easy, email me the files. I know that I'm showing my ignorance here but hopefully the files would be in English and not French. When it comes to actual code commands, is there a language difference? I don't know but I'm about to find out
Thanks for any help you can give me, Shawn Belt DPC Systems, Inc. Fort Worth, TX USA sbelt@dpcsystems.com
