| [WD18] Code windows will not open up in there own windows |

Hi
I am sorry my friends. I am beginning to feel like a PITA. I just got over a major problem with the help of some great WinDevers and now my code windows are all opening in the same window instead of there own code windows. I know there is a setting for this but I have looked everywhere and I can not find where you set the setting. Would someone please point me to where the setting is. I am using WD18. Thanks for any help you might give me. |

Hi John,
if it is in WD19 on the same place, open the code of a window or something else, go to tab 'Display' and you find your setting on top of the second column from the left: 'Reuse the same code window'. |

Thanks, I don't what's going on but the checkbox was checked. So I unchecked the box and now it works. Now the code windows opens in separate windows. As long as I can get WD to do things the way I want all is well. I have something wrong with my WD environment somewhere. I am having to many problems with things WD should be handling.

John,
Just fyi - note that in WD19 this setting occasionally gets lost between restarts of WD. I have it off but it switches back on every now and then. |

Hi,
same for some settings in the search window (i.e. 'search in comments').
I've send it to PCSoft, but they couldn't replicate the problem, they said.
Strange when more people has the same problem now and then. |

WD19 is definitely a little strange in the project settings department.
Same if you don't start up WD (say) over the weekend, it re-opens the project you were working on (if that's what you had set), but it doesn't re-open the windows or whatever you were working on - never had a problem in any previous versions from WD11! If you open it every day, then all is fine! |
