Hello,
using Windev 20 66r
Creating Windows Service
I'm new to Wx and have started learning this tool.
Now I'm creating one windows service, 'Own Service' exact replica of WD Service supplied with Windev. On execution of WD Service the service starts and stops with no problem. But when I compile the same WD Service in Windev 20, I get the following error when I try to stop (Uninstall) the service.
Failure sending the command to the SERVICE service.
System Error Details: The service did not respond to the start or control
request in a timely fashion.
But it seems that the service has been stopped, but not uninstalled. Again executing the program, it uninstalls perfectly. This problem occurs in both WD Service and Own Service.
Not sure with which version of the Windev the original WD Service has been compiled, which works out perfectly. Seems that this problem occurs with Windev 20.
Any solution to overcome this problem, as I'm using Windev 20 only.l
