For a medical application we need to open a scanned document (tiff) and recouver the data from the barcodes (can up to 6) on the opend document. Anyone any idea how? |

Hi
there are 2 options. Either you use a barcode reader dll/activeX/assembly, either free or $$$, -OR- you just do it yourself in wlanguage, by analyzing the succession of black and white pixels on the document.
Both solutions have been used by some of my customers, depending if they wanted to depend on an external tool or not.
Best regards
